London soundtrack/library music composer Brian Bennett is included in this show that goes back to the 80s with Tomaga, Yellow Power and Die Partei, the 70s with Rob Thomsett, then fits current re-edits and techno (from Jealous God Issue Fifteen) into the grooves.

The second half of this 4 part show covers the Cherry Red boxset ‘Action Time Vision (A Story Of Independent UK Punk 1976-1979).’ The first half hits a couple of times in ‘Lagniappe Sessions Vol. 1,’ ‘Brown Acid: The Fourth Trip,’ ‘Typical Girls Vol. 2,’ and ‘Wipers Box Set.’ A few oddities glue together the moving parts and bring out the flavors extra well!

Mostly an electronic/re-edit show, but keeps a foot and a half in the rock world too. The classic Bristol sound in Amp’s cover of ‘Scarborough Fair’ gets pounded by Julian Cope’s Dope project, but as we leave Dope we sail smoothly on edits that tickle different sounds into a gelled whole.

One of the best examples ever of chilled out disco from Italy’s Blue Gas, a meditative Mark Van Hoen (Locust) track, exotic Ali Kuru, then Belgian/Congolese duo Denis Mpunga and Paul K. precede some tasteful re-edits. The set ends riotous with John Cale, but after following Video Liszt and NYC’s The Dance that makes sense.
