Rock show of ‘S’ bands played alphabetically. We start with The Saints and end with Belgium band The Strings. All tracks are vinyl spun in real time, except the first track by Silverhead, which is on a CD and gives me time to balance the tone arms and prepare the turntables for the show proper.

Rock show that has a logic that can’t be linearly perceived – you just have to be there. Eras, genres, and regions criss-cross a bunch. The only thing that is consistent is that I 100% endorse every track laid down for you here.

All vinyl rock show with some fave artists of mine, evident straight from the start with The Only Ones, and at the very end with La Peste (both absolute favorites of mine). Scottish band The Flowers only released two 7″, but we hear a non-7″ track from a Fast Product comp. The Do It Now! Track is a must hear, and the Further track is one of their best.

Six songs in, this show transitions from a rock show to an electronic show. Throughout it is all vinyl spun in real time. The transition song by Leroy captures a sizable slice of both worlds. All tracks chosen with care.

A whole bunch of Dark Entries 12″ provide a clear direction to a show thrown askew by the two opening rock tracks and the second to last track by the Detroit band Death. The show ends harmoniously in The Hague with Intergalactic Gary, one of the artists I discovered through the amazing CDr label Panama Racing. The oddball in the set is a track from Frank Cordell’s soundtrack to the film Demon.
