Electronic show – the Ava Cherry track lifts up up big time – love listening to that one. Francis Bebey is always an interesting listen, and Bissau does it with a throat-singer styled held note refrain. Treasure’s Pigbag re-edit rides on that great bass line. Gizmos, Helen Love, Milk N’ Cookies and The Sleepers right next to each other? I’ll take it! A rock show at the close, with a blended start of electronic cuts (Auntie Flo), choice foreign tracks (Das weiße Pferd, SK Kakraba, Ananda Shankar, Keyboard Masher), dub reggae (Revolutionaries) and strange (Belp). Some reggae pops in as well (Revolutionaries). The final 11 tracks propel up up UP.
